your ideas with the nationwide Business Idea Competition of Bhutan 2017 under
the theme “
Ideas in Motion
”. This year, passionate and aspiring
entrepreneurs can win prizes in two categories:

Launch a Startup in 54 Hours with Startup
Weekend Bhutan, 14

entrepreneurs, developers, designers, dreamers and doers with ideas ~~
Startup
Weekend® is a 54-hour event designed to provide superior experiential entrepreneurship
education. Beginning with Friday night pitches and continuing through
brainstorming and business plan development, Startup Weekends culminate in
Sunday night demos and presentations. Participants create working startups
during the event and win attractive prizes
.
The
third edition of Startup Weekend Bhutan will be hosted at Bhutan Innovation
& Technology Centre, Thimphu TechPark, from 14
th
to 16
th
April, 2017 in collaboration with Techstars, the Department of IT & Telecom,
MoIC and the Department of Employment, MoLHR. Food, drinks and snacks will be
available to all participants at the venue. In this edition, the focus will be
on ideas that use technologies such as the Internet, ecommerce, IT, mobile
apps, animation, web etc.

All successful businesses have started with the spark of an idea at first. Therefore, Bhutan Innovation & Technology Centre, Thimphu TechPark, in collaboration with Entrepreneurship & Self Employment Division, Department of Employment, MoLHR, is conducting the nationwide ‘Business Idea Competition of Bhutan 2016’ with the theme ‘Innovative Business Idea’.
We hereby invite anyone having business ideas ideas to send in entries for the ‘Business Competition of Bhutan 2016’ latest by 30th April 2016. As a reward attractive cash prizes of up to Nu. 100,000 will be provided to selected entries.
The business idea should be submitted by email using the prescribed form which can be downloaded from below:
